This year the Stadthallengarten Görlitz Open Air will take place on August 12th - 13th.

To kick off this year's festival, there will be a top-class live rock concert on August 12th under the motto "Görlitz Rocks in the Garden". Stefan Krähe will open the festival as a special guest with his rock creations.

Stefan Krähe, who was successful as frontman, leader and founder of the band SIX for 25 years, has been on tour with his new project KRÄHE since December 2017. With this new start, he proves that he is an artist characterized by authenticity who devotes himself to moving topics in his own German-language songs and takes a clear stand. He touches and inspires his listeners not only through topics such as home, love, or love for one's own child, but also through his direct manner. His unmistakable voice gives you goosebumps!

STARFUCKER from Berlin

The highlight of this rock evening is without a doubt the concert of the most famous Rolling Stones tribute band in Germany, the band "Starfucker A Tribute to the Rolling Stones" from Berlin. Mike Kilian and band will make the Stadthalle garden shake. Since 1998, the Starfuckers have been the most booked Rolling Stones tribute band in Germany with over 800 successful concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium and are undoubtedly one of the top performers in the German rock landscape, with many years of stage and touring experience throughout Europe. They have shared the stage with Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Robin Gibb, Bryan Adams, Jennifer Rush, Sweet, Slade, Marmalade, Equals and many others. At Starfucker concerts, the audience feels the spirit of Jagger, Richards and Co. up close. With big hits like Angie, Ruby Tuesday, Paint it Black, Satisfaction and many more, the band leaves little to be desired to make every Stones fan's heart beat faster. The charismatic frontman Mike Kilian (ex-Rockhaus) is rarely at a loss for a cheeky saying and heats up the audience so much that the band is only ever let off the stage after an encore. Cuba Percussion & Friends

On the second day of the festival, Saturday August 13th, we want to share “Pure Caribbean Feeling!” experience. The Cuban formation "Habana Tradicional - Cuba Percussion & Friends" is a guest with us and, with their show program from the Buena Vista Social Club era, brings the music of the Caribbean sugar island with its rhythmic and melodic richness and emotional fullness to Görlitz. This concert is accompanied by a dance workshop and dance performances by the BailaThea dance school led by Ricardo Neumann. Let us be inspired by the rhythms and Latin dances from the white beaches of Cuba and enjoy the holiday feeling at this Caribbean festival. We look forward to seeing you!
